On 27 March 2024, Dr Julia Dehm gave a seminar on “Mainstreaming Climate Change in Australian Legal Education” at the University of California (Irvine). The seminar was followed by engaged discussion about the challenges in mainstreaming climate change in legal education, the differences and similarities in legal education in Australia and the United States and the relative benefits of mainstreaming compared to developing specialised climate law subjects.
