On Monday 6 May 2024, Steph Houghton and Julia Dehm spoke at the monthly La Trobe Climate Network seminars about climate change and transformative pedagogy in higher education. Steph presentation described the process of collaborating with other academics in the humanities and the social sciences to write, “Towards and Interdisciplinary Agenda for Teaching in the Climate Crisis: Reflections from the Humanities and Social Sciences” (2023) Environmental Education Research https://doi.org/10.1080/13504622.2023.2273791. Julia presented findings from our survey of Australian legal academics to understand the process and challenges of mainstreaming climate change in legal education.
