Dr Julia Dehm attended a Conscious Lawyering Training Day for the community legal sector on 19 June 2025. The training day was co-hosted by South-East Monash Legal Service and the Federation of Community Legal Centres and supported by the University of Melbourne.
This symposium was a chance to bring people together around the urgent questions of law and climate — and to share the knowledge that the Climate Justice Program has been building over the past few years. From protecting renters in extreme heat, to supporting workers who are impacted by extreme weather, to imagining more sustainable legal practice, there were many vital issues to discuss.
